Opal :: Matt Desmond
It's a trendy little font, isn't it? It's like an ultra funkified Helvetica Neue Ultra Light
Wanna buy this font? But it here: Variable
Here's the blurb from the foundry / typographer..
---------------------------------------
Variable is a sans-serif monoline typeface family that can be used in a variety of typographic environments.
The UltraThin weight is perfect for use at large sizes in magazines or anywhere a hairline effect is needed. The Black weight feels reminiscent of wooden router lettering.
Variable is very versatile due to it’s calming curves and can be used in print or on-screen environments.

PUKE. I only have two beefs. The letters don't always meet up as seamless as they should. Sometimes they run over each other angle wise. And the letter G is a little too heavy in weight when compared to the other letters. G's can often be fascinating but it has to be through shape, not weight.
Anyhow, that being said, I think it would be good for that Vancity Bank type crowed? Non? Young, hip and san-serif? Clean and good for a word or two word max.
The number's aren't the greatest either (ok, that's three beefs). I think that they could have done a better job with the numbers - they just lack the interesting structure as you imagine from a standard monoline style font.
